5月15、16日の2日間で山形県天童市の「ホテル王将」に東日本大震災被災者の方々のヘアカットをボランティアで行いました。
自分が住んでいた土地だったので、落ち着いて仕事ができた気がします。
限られた時間での仕事だったので完全予約制で1時間お一人様。の予定が希望が殺到して1時間1家族、2日間で45人の方々のカット！！！がんばりました！！！！
東北はまだまだ余震が多かったり、カットしている最中に1号機メルトダウン、避難区域が広がったというニュース等々が飛び込んできたりしてかなりトリッキーな状態がつづいているのが現状です。
子供たちはホテルから学校へ通い、自分達がおかれた環境を自分たちなりに理解してがんばっていました。
今回でボランティアヘアカットは3回目でしたが、これからも出来る限り続けていこうと思います。
道具の提供、いろいろサポートしてくれたWatanabeのスタッフ、このボランティアワークのオーガナイズをしてくださったホテル王将前田様をはじめご協力いただいたホテルスタッフの皆様、私の個人的な活動を応援してくださっているお客様、皆様にこの場をかりて感謝、感謝です！！ありがとうございます。

I went back to Yamagata last weekend for volunteer work.
there are 110 people from Fukushima staying in the Hotel in Yamagata.
all the people actually lived near Fukushima nuclear power plant. at the moment they must get out because of what happened.
it's really hard to understand their situation. because they still have their houses in Fukushima. it's not their houses are gone by the Tsunami. the houses are still there.
but as you all know that power plant has such a big problem right now. so they cannot stay there any more.
and nobody knows when they can go home.
kids had to change school of course. and they go to school from the hotel.
parents are looking for jobs and houses to start their new lives which is really difficult.
I cut 45 people's hair this time. it's been over 2 months since the earthquake. so they are not freaking out or panicked. but they still have lots of problems really.
I'm wishing and hoping and praying all the problem will be sorted A.S.A.P!!!
these Fukushima people will stay until November . so I'll go there to see them.
and thank you for your support and kindest words from all over the world.
we'll never give up.
